Fan-Tastik Fan is the latest brainchild from our pal Ray Piatt. Ray has taken some very “up to the second” technology, added it to some classic magic technology and come up with not just one trick, but a world of possibilities!
The heart of the routine is an extremely hi-tech hand-held fan that can be programmed to deliver all kinds of messages. In addition, Ray supplies some specially-made plastic cards that can be written on with wet-erase marker so the written messages can be easily changed.
Here is one suggested routine:
Show six white plastic cards, each with the name of a different playing card written on it. Ask a spectator to select one of the playing cards and then put the plastic cards face down on the table. Ask the spectator to think of her card and explain that you will attempt to name it. After a couple of attempts (and failures), you notice that it’s getting a little hot in the room. So, you bring out your little hand-held fan. Turn it on and aim it at your face to help cool you off.
Then, offer to help cool the spectator off. And, as you aim the rotating fan at her, the name of her selected playing card appears lit up on the surface of the fan! It looks wild, for sure!
The cards can be easily changed to show ESP Symbols, product name, etc. The fan is easily programmed to display whatever message you wish. In all a very versatile and very entertaining item.
