Bob Reed has made a career out of producing of a full bottle of Champagne from an empty handkerchief. The effect is so startling, the audience is caught completely unaware. The Splash Bottle gimmick is completely different from Bob's method, yet it allows you to produce a full bottle just about anytime, anywhere!Several different effects are possible using the Splash Bottle:
Bottle From Balloon: Blow up a balloon and show it all around. Take a knife and break the balloon. As it explodes, a full bottle of champagne appears!
Name Your Drink: Show 7 cards. Each has the name of a different drink. Whiskey, gin, martini, champagne, wine, etc. A spectator shuffles the cards and keeps one. Let's say it's the champagne card. Explain that you will read the spectator's mind. Blow up a clear balloon and explain that it is your crystal ball. Ask the spectator to think of their drink. In a blink, the balloon pops and a real bottle of champagne appears!
Bottle From Napkins: Borrow three napkins and bring them together. From within the folds of the napkins you produce a full bottle!
Bottle In The Bag: Show a paper bag folded in four. Explain that the bag contains three bottles: coke, beer and champagne. Open the bag and remove a flattened beer can and a flattened soda can. Now, reach in and produce, you guessed it, a full bottle of champagne!
These are just a few of the routines possible. The gimmick is very well made, designed to last a lifetime. Imported from Belgium.
